Learning to love, to love oneself, to love others, isn’t that the meaning of life? But to learn to love others, it is first necessary to regain self-confidence, with a new openness of mind and an action plan to bring about a beneficial change in one’s life. Believing in oneself, loving oneself, having self-confidence are all facets of one of the fundamental dimensions of our personality: self-esteem.
Yet how many of us have difficulty communicating, because we feel bad about ourselves? However, nothing is irremediable. Establishing one’s personal balance, learning to question oneself, working one’s ego are all concrete solutions to live in better harmony with oneself... and with others. What if we finally decided to really love each other?
To love is to really listen to oneself. It is a personal work on oneself that consists in taking care of oneself. It is listening to his little inner voice that tells us what is good for us or not. Easier to say than to implement!
Hence, I offer you 7 keys to appreciate yourself:
- Physically valuing oneself through presentation by actively seeking to please oneself.
- Identify negative automatic self assessments by systematically substituting them for more positive thoughts.
- Identify your aspirations and the gap between your desires and your present state.
- Identify all memories of past successes.
- Identify each time you anticipate a failure and replace that thought with a positive projection of success.
- Identify why you were successful and why you were able to fail for each situation and learn from it.
- Seek the friendship and love of others by giving them a great deal of attention, listening, respect, understanding and affection.
